Instructions for adding your business or organization to the Travel Directory |
| 1. Please register an account with Alberta Vacation Locations. |

Your directory listing will be assigned to this account. Please make sure to record your username and password for future reference.
NOTE: This account is not your directory listing you still need to add your business to the directory. However, only registered users are allowed to add a business listing.

| 2. Once registered and logged into the site: "Post a New Businss" will appear on the top right hand corner of the directory. |

You will also be able to manage your directory listing - edit, update, or add new businesses. One user account with the site will allow you to have and manage multiple directory listings.
|

3. Select your category and add the details of your business or organization. |

NOTE: Required fields will be marked in red if not filled in correctly. If the listing is not saving, please review your fields.
NOTE: All listings need to be approved before they will be seen live.
You can recommend that we add a category if your industry is not currently represented.

| 4. E-mail addresses will NOT be posted on the site. |

An active e-mail is required for administrative contact but e-mails will not be displayed to the public. This will help to protect your e-mail from being crawled and added to spam lists. It will also encourage visitors to go to your site if they want to contact you electronically.

| 5. Have patience with the directory. |
| |
This is a FREE listing. We will continue to make imporvements to the directory and in our product offering. The directory listing will remain free but you will be required to renew your listing annually. This will ensure that the directory remains current.

| 6. Tell a friend. |
| |
If your know someone in the tourism or a travel related industry in Alberta please let them know about the directory. Toursim Boards, Municipalities and Economic Development agencies are also welcome to add their information to the directory.
